What we collect
We collect only what you send us through the project request form: your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you selected, your budget and timeline indication, your project description, and any file you attach — the file itself, not just its name. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to administer that engagement. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a request you initiated, and where relevant, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months of your last contact with us. Files you attach to an enquiry are deleted on the same schedule. Records relating to an actual engagement are kept for 8 years from the end of that engagement, which is the period Indian tax and contractual record-keeping requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep a specific record.
Where it is processed
We are based in Mumbai and process enquiries in India. Our email provider and object storage provider may process data on servers outside India, including in the European Union and the United States. Where that happens, it is limited to what is needed to deliver and store your message.
Who is responsible, and how to complain
Build Foundry is the Data Fiduciary for the information described here. Grievances are handled by Anurag Yadav, Founder, who is the point of contact under section 13 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email hello@buildfoundry.in with "Grievance" in the subject line and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Build Foundry is a sole proprietorship registered as a micro enterprise under Udyam, registration number UDYAM-MH-19-0463081. It is not registered for GST.
Who else sees it
Our email provider processes messages in transit. Your submission and any file attached to it are stored on Cloudflare R2, an object storage service, under an access key held only by us. We do not share enquiry data with third parties for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@buildfoundry.in and we will respond within one month.

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies as built. If analytics are added later, this section must be updated and a consent mechanism added before any non-essential cookie is set.
